Event: Sacred Assembly
Date: Sunday November 15th at 6:00 pm
Location: Olympia Metro Church

Dear congregation

I
n the book of Joel, the people had experienced great destruction from swarms of locusts. As a spiritual leader, Joel knew the remedy was to call God’s people to return to Him in a sacred assembly. This meant that they would come together, seek God, repent for their past actions, and turn and seek God’s favor for their future. When the people responded, God heard, forgave their sins, and restored the land (Joel 1-3).

This year in Argentina, God spoke to me through the mouth of a prophet about doing the same when I returned home. I have traveled to Argentina for twelve years and have received much from the revival in that country. Over the last six years, with my involvement with the Churches in Chaco, God has molded me and used me with a great anointing from the Holy Spirit. I have always come home encouraged, yet like with Moses, eventually the glory would fade from me. I don’t think I gave it up as much as it was robbed from me by the enemy.

This year in Argentina God also spoke to me from John 6:12 where Jesus told his disciples to gather up all of the miracle bread from the feeding of the 5000, and let nothing be lost. This scripture has become a directive for me, and I believe Metro. This year - nothing must be lost! Nothing of His scriptural promises to us from the Word of God, nothing of our prophetic promises; nothing! Thus, it is time for us to stop the plague that has come over our Church, and return to the Lord so that nothing of what He wants to pour out upon us will be lost.

Metro Church will be sixteen years old the first Sunday in November. We’ve had good times and seasons of testing in the past, however, I believe breakthrough is now at our door post. I also believe (from what God has spoken to us over the last three years) that our hour for renewal and revival is here. Remember, “you can have all of God that you want, and presently you do.”
Thus, it’s time for us to take hold of our prophetic destiny, rebuke the schemes of the devil, confess the sins of our cultural/spiritual deadening and look to the Lord for healing. Then, as Peter did in Mt 14:28-29, we must believe for the supernatural, and ask the Lord to call us to come out of our boat and walk on our water. I believe the water represents fear and the impossible, yet faith and belief that God can do all things through us who gives us strength.

For too long our eyes have been on the wind and the waves rather than the Word of God, and the mission/vision given to us by the Lord. Praise be to God that season is now over, and a new day is here! However, the first thing we must do is to exercise scriptural authority over our past, and bind the enemy. For too long we have accepted what the enemy has given us, rather than take hold of what God has for us. Anger, fear, depression, poverty, pride, lack of joy, cultural complacency just to name a few, have had their way with this congregation. Enough is enough!

After prayer and council with my leaders, I feel the time is now. Thus, I am calling Metro to come together on Sunday night, November 15th at 6:00 pm for such an assembly. I am asking everyone who calls Metro their Church to come and participate. From the time of this announcement, we will have 21 days in which to prepare ourselves for this gathering. I would suggest you consider some preparation and cleansing. To make this Sacred Assembly all that God wants it to be for us, I ask you to consider some of the following suggestions:

1. A Daniel fast, or some type of fasting that is given to the Lord.
2. Extra - personal time in prayer.
3. Attend the pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 8:30 to
    9:00 am.
4. Attend the Monday night warfare prayer meeting from 7:00 to 8:00
    pm.
5. Read Mt 7:7-8 and believe for the victory to come. Read through
Psalms 119 daily and pray it back to the Lord verse by verse. Pray
verses 133-135 each day over the next 21 days.
6. Reflect upon your life, and reflect upon Metro’s past. Make a list of
things that you need to lay down and seek forgiveness for.
7. Give the invitation to those who are not faithful in attendance to come.
8. Go over your prophetic promises and believe!
9. Define the issues in your life that you need to address. Are there
needs in your family or ministry that can use special attention? Are
you seeking healing? Do you feel oppressed by financial bondages?
What is your gift-mix, and what is God calling you to do?
10. Stay humble.

These next 21 days are an excellent time to search your heart, and open yourself to the Lord. Allow Him to prepare you for this Assembly. God is going to set us free and open the gates of heaven for our future.

Second Chronicles 7:14 says, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Jeremiah said, 'You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jer 29:13). God will honor his Word when we do our part!

As your Pastor I am asking you to follow me, and come. Please make whatever arrangements you need to in your schedules to make this special service. God bless you all as you prepare your hearts for this special time.
